Poplar Looks Forward To Strong Volleyball Season
Poplar’s volleyball squad is ready to reach good heights this season with the return of three starters from last season’s squad.
Starters back for the Indians are senior Braelyn Nordwick, senior Lilliana O’Neal and senior Toni Brown.
Other returning letterwinners are sophomore Miley Crawford, sophomore Jacey Azure, senior Ashlyn Bull Chief and sophomore Makenzie Crawford.
“I believe our biggest team strength is the girls’ strong determination to take on any challenges,” Coach Dusti Marottek said. “We have lots of talent, strong teamwork and great spirits.”
Assistant coaches are Tiffani Humphreys, Demiree Russell, Samantha Youngman and Sunshine Vicente.

She said the young team has been working on skill based development during the first few weeks of practice.
