Museum To Open In May
Jill Loomer Herness with the Culbertson Museum told the Community News that recent fundraising efforts including the bake sale, raffle, membership and other donations have totaled approximately $1,900 as of the latest deposit.
Herness said the Cabin Fever event held Sunday, Feb. 4, at the Culbertson town hall building on Broadway Avenue was well attended and enjoyable. The museum is set to open for the season after Mother’s Day, May 12.
Community members interested in participating in museum planning should consider attending a meeting of the museum board. The next meeting is March 11 at the Justice of the Peace office at the county building in Culbertson.
