Bainville dropped two close conference volleyball matches during last week. The Bulldogs fell to Plentywood by a 24-26, 22-25, 16-25, final on Thursday, Oct. 12. Hailey Berwick led Bainville with eight kills and 13 digs. Kendra Romo finished with 17 assists and 10 digs. The Bulldogs then lost at home against the Richey/ Lambert Fusion by a final margin of 21-25, 25-20, 24-26, 25-17, 11-15.

The Culbertson Cowgirls lost a home volleyball match against a tough Plentywood squad on Tuesday, Oct. 10. Plentywood won by a 21-25, 25-20, 25-15, 25-17, final. Destiny Thompson led Culbertson’s attack with 18 kills, 16 digs, a block and an ace. Ivy Colvin finished with 11 assists, an ace and six digs. Bainville fought off Culbertson 14-25, 25-20, 25-10, 12-25, 15-10, in a tight league volleyball match held in Culbertson on Monday, Oct. 16.
