Edith Alberta Bigleggins, “Little Door Woman”, 81, died Feb. 2, 2023, in Frazer. She was born Dec. 24, 1941, to Robert Welch and Beatrice Brown. She met Garret Joseph Bigleggins Sr. and they were married in July 1960. She lived on the west end of Frazer, but also lived in California for 10 years, where she did many things like picking strawberries. She moved back to Frazer where she resided until her death. She worked as a senior citizen cook, at Spotted Bull as an AA counselor and at the Glasgow Air Force Base as a sewer. Her favorite things to do were playing bingo, painting her nails and spending time with her grandchildren. She

Morris Robert Olson Sr.


Morris Robert Olson Sr., 70, died Saturday, Jan. 28, 2023, at Poplar Hospital. He was born March 9, 1952, to Raquel Young and William Goatie Sears at the Poplar Hospital. He was raised by his grandmother Jenny Lester along with his older sister Julia and two young brothers, Levi and Kenny. He attended Chilocco Indian Boarding School and played basketball for them. He also played independent basketball. He liked to throw horseshoes with his buddies and relatives. He liked to ride around and listen to ‘60s and ‘70s music. He liked to watch football, especially the Denver Broncos, and visit with whoever came over to watch with him. He liked to laugh and tease and have a good time. He married Phyllis Grey-Bear on March 12, 2004. He is survived by his sons, Myron Olson Sr., Robbie Olson, Les Ogle and Mike Olson; daughters, Judith Olson, Kelly Ann GreyBear, Cerise GreyBear and Jordan Grey-Bear; sisters, Julia Young and Jonelle White; brothers, Keith Olson Sr., Irvin Olson Sr., Lester

Culbertson Museum Staff held their Cabin Fever Soup Feed Sunday, Feb 5, Jill Herness noted that the group served over 50 people soup and chili. She said the museum will reopen for the season May 15. Austin Ray Peterson, 29, of Wolf Point died Jan. 28, 2023 at Billings Clinic in Billings. He was born on March 12, 1993, in Wolf Point. He graduated from Wolf Point High School in 2011. He was a very adventurous person and always wanted to try something new or drive somewhere new. He always wanted to learn everything he could. He had several jobs throughout his life and was able to learn new skills from all of them. He was very proud of his last employment with Tribal Enterprise as a plumber’s assistant. He told his mother, “What I do is nasty and dirty, but when you help someone with their plumbing you should see their faces, so thankful. You got their problem fixed. That makes my day, Mom.” He was always on the go. Fishing, hunting, pretending to go fishing … he just had to be doing something outdoors and enjoying life. He loved music and he loved his family. He was known to have a good sense of humor and had a great smile that everyone loved. He was a very charismatic individual. He had plenty of girlfriends and vehicles, but he finally settled with Josie White and had two daughters. Mallie Mae Rose Peterson was born on Jan. 8, 2017, and Skylnn Rannae Peterson was born on May 20, 2018. He and Josie separated later and he met Kristen Bighorn. He and Kristen married in July 2022 at Bridge Park. He had two step-children, Arora Big
