The Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office responded to 81 calls from Sept. 10 to Sept. 16. Anyone cited or arrested are presumed innocent. The calls included: Sept. 10 Deputy responded to a burglary alarm call to assist a tribal officer at Tribal Express in Poplar. All entry points were secured. Deputies provided assisted to an adult female who required a ride from Culbertson to Wolf Point.

Three individuals were sentenced during hearings in district court on Sept. 13. Paul Douglas Nygaard was sentenced for criminal distribution of dangerous drugs, fentanyl, by accountability.
