Loverty Erickson has unofficially resigned as the Wolf Point superintendent of schools. According to an email to staff members, Erickson is on the Family Medical Leave Act time until Aug. 30. Montclair Sentenced For Illegal Possession Of Firearm

A Billings felon who admitted to illegal possession of a firearm after his arrest in Poplar while absconding from Billings, was sentenced on Thursday, Aug. 18, to 38 months in prison, to be followed by three years of supervised release, U.S. Attorney Jesse Laslovich said. Curtis Jeffrey Montclair, 38, of Poplar and Billings, pleaded guilty in May to prohibited person in possession of a firearm.
