Roosevelt County reported 23 active COVID cases as of Friday, Sept. 23. There have been 3,618 total cases in the county. Roosevelt County Health Department hosts COVID-19 vaccine clinics in Wolf Point the first and third Thursdays of the month, and in Culbertson on the fourth Thursday. Xavier Darnell, 15, of Wolf Point died on Sept. 16, 2022, in Wolf Point. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 28, at the New Community Hall in Wolf Point. Interment will follow at Chicken Hill Cemetery. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel was entrusted with the arrangements.
