Digital Duck Stamps Available For Purchase
Migratory bird hunters can now purchase an e-stamp version of the Federal Duck Stamp. The e-stamp, or Electronic Federal Duck Stamp, is a digital version of the traditional Federal Duck Stamp required for hunting migratory waterfowl in the United States.
The e-stamp provides digital proof of purchase that allows you to hunt migratory birds, just like the physical Duck Stamp, and is valid until the end of the stamp year – June 30, 2027. Each e-stamp is linked to the buyer with a unique customer number and security features. It cannot be transferred to someone else.
Anyone can buy an e-stamp, whether you are a hunter or a collector. To purchase an e-stamp, go to Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Online Licensing Service. After you purchase the e-stamp, you’ll get a digital receipt that you can show on your phone or print out as proof.
After March 10 each year, everyone who bought an e-stamp will receive the traditional printed Duck Stamp in the mail.
Money from Duck Stamp sales helps protect and conserve wildlife habitats across the country.
