Folsom Enjoys Hunting, Relaxing Time In Culbertson
Among the interests of Culbertson High School senior Kevin Folsom is hunting deer and pheasants.
One of his favorite hunting adventures was a time with his father and a buddy who happened to be fairly new to hunting. “It was just funny,” Folsom said. “He didn’t know what he was doing too much.”
Folsom has enjoyed success hunting both pheasants and deer, but he enjoys hunting pheasants more.
When he was attending high school in Williston, N.D., he liked being a member of the clay target club.
“It was something fun to do after school or on weekends,” he said.
He started to attend school in Culbertson starting his junior year.
“It’s not so chaotic as Williston,” Folsom said of Culbertson. “I’ve made some good friends.”
His favorite class is government and his favorite teacher is Dave Solem.
“He’s a really good teacher,” Folsom said.
After high school, Folsom plans to study either diesel technology or becoming a lineman.
“I think I will stay in Montana for awhile,” he said.
