Flinn Approved As New County Fair Manager

Chelsie Flinn has been approved as fair manager, following the recommendation of the Roosevelt County Fair Board’s hiring committee. The fair board met on Friday, Jan. 9, to convene a vote.

Flinn was approved by unanimous vote on Monday, Jan. 12, at the regular Roosevelt County commissioners’ meeting. Former county fair manager Angela Miller resigned on the last day of the 2025 fair. She had been manager of the Roosevelt County Fair since 2012. Roosevelt County commissioners officially accepted the resignation during their meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 19.

The latter meeting also included passage of meeting minutes for special and regular meetings on Jan. 6.

A request from the road department for tin to repair the Wolf Point repair shop was approved at a cost of $7,541.

The commissioners discussed health insurance and said they would be comparing plans and options for county employees.
