Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Report
The Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office responded to 83 calls from June 23-30.
The calls included the following: June 24
Deputies and the Bainville Fire Department responded to a fire of an oil well pump jack located a mile east of Bainville.
At the Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office, an officer from the Montana State Probation and Parole seized evidence of a failed drug test. An individual attempted to use a fake rubber bladder for an urine test.
Deputies responded to Brockton for a disturbance involving a female yelling outside and hitting windows of a vehicle. She fled the area before officers arrived.
June 25
Deputies assisted the Fort Peck Tribes Department of Law and Justice regarding a domestic abuse call. A family member claimed that an adult male threw a pitchfork at a younger family member. Law enforcement separated all parties.
June 28
Deputies responded to Culbertson’s city limits. The reporting party said he was away for a few weeks and found that someone broke into his semi-truck vehicle and stole some items.
