Our little Triangle Park is located right smack in the heart of our little town. It’s a beautiful spot, already set up with a beautiful lawn (with an automatic sprinkling system) and big, beautiful trees that give a lot of shade in the summer time. I believe (but am not sure) the city does the mowing.

U.S. Sen. Steve Daines, Sen. Tim Sheehy, U.S. Rep, Ryan Zinke and Rep. Troy Downing last week sent a letter to the Montana State Legislature expressing strong support for establishing American Rodeo as Montana’s official state sport in recognition of its cultural and historical significance for Montanans.

Poplar’s girls’ wrestling team tied for second place in the team standings at the divisional meet with 109 points. The Indians tied with Fort Benton. Baker took first place with 150.5 points.
Two Poplar wrestlers earned individual divisional championships.
Angelina Escarcega captured the title at 100 pounds. The senior won on a 15-0 technical fall over Baker’s Emmalyn Miller in the championship
