Wolves Fall Against Defending State Champions In Malta


Wolf Point’s football team got behind early and lost at defending state champion Malta, 46-14, on Friday, Sept. 19. The Mustangs jumped out to a 19-0 lead in the first quarter. Malta reached the end zone on a five-yard run by quarterback Kazner Oxarart, a three-run dash by Rylee Brusse and a 42-yard interception return. Wolves Drop Home Match Against North Country


Wolf Point fell in four sets against a strong North Country volleyball team during non-conference action on Saturday, Sept. 20. The Mavericks won by a 25-7, 25-12, 2225, 25-8 final. The third set was the highlight for the Wolves during the tough match.
