Poplar Runners Compete At Moutain West

Poplar’s cross-country members competed at the Mountain West Classic in Missoula on Saturday, Sept. 20. The meet featured athletes from all classes.

Leading Poplar’s boys was Jayden Eder with a time of 18:30.1 for 233rd place. Eljin Grey Bear placed 239th at 18:33.3.

Issac Irizarry took 255th with a time of 18:39.8.

Wilder Bearcub finished in 336th with a time of 19:23.4. Ryder Olson took 423rd at 20:16.0. Raylando Red Eagle was 538th at 22:13.1. Mickey Failing was 541st at 22:17.3.

In the girls’ division, Poplar’s Journey Gourneau finished in 168th place with a time of 22:02.6.

Mila Gramling took 218th place at 22:36.1.

Kellyn Azure earned 280th place at 23:26.3. Alara Cooper was 370th at 23:42.2. Amelia Weeks was 373rd at 24:44.5.

Harley Daniels placed 404th with a time of 25:37.6.
