A wake was held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, at the Poplar Cultural Center. Her funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 24, at the Poplar Cultural Center with interment at Riverside Presbyterian Cemetery in Riverside under the direction of Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel.

Mayor Chris Dschaak started the meeting by stating that of six open seats available on the council (plus the mayor’s seat), only three have been filled, leaving critical vacancies in several wards. The Wolf Point Food Pantry is requesting donations in order to help area individuals in need.
Carol Hentges noted that the food pantry is almost out of items at this time.
The food pantry was closed during the COVID pandemic and then was opened a few hours on Fridays.
Hentges and Natasha Kemp have recently been busy cleaning the facility.
They will soon announce the new operating hours.
