With the Indians behind by a 61-59 margin, Dupree knocked down three free throws to give the Indians a 62-61 victory.

Wolf Point’s wrestlers were happy to be back in action this weekend after a long holiday break.
The Wolves wrestled in Chester on Thursday, Jan. 5, at their mixer. Joli Beston, Maddox Reum, Jesse Reed and Kasey Reed all were 2-0. Sam Boysun and Jayden Dominique went 0-2.

The Lions took a 16-6 lead in the first quarter, but the Bearcubs closed the gap to 21-16 in the second quarter.
Lustre accounted for 16 points in the third quarter and 15 more in the fourth period for the league victory.

Poplar jumped out to a 16-2 lead in the non-conference contest and held a 23-18 halftime advantage.
“We just went flat,” Poplar coach Gib Medicine Cloud said. “It was our first game coming off the long Christmas break. We didn’t take care of the little things that we need to.”
