The William Turcotte Community Thanksgiving Dinner is offered starting at 1 p.m. on Thanksgiving day at the Beauchamp Building, 103 E. Dawson St., in Wolf Point. Dana Buckles won a seat on the Fort Peck Tribal Executive Board during a special election on Saturday, Nov. 19. The need for a special election was created when longtime tribal board member Grant Stafne resigned in a letter dated Aug. 29. Because Buckles and Kaci Wallette tied for 13th place with 449 votes each in last year’s election, a new election involving the two candidates was needed
