Fine Arts Extravaganza Set For Weekend


Area residents will have the opportunity to enjoy the talents of Wolf Point High School students during the Fine Arts Extravaganza on Friday, Nov. 18, and Saturday, Nov. 19. Performances start at 7 p.m. each night at the First Lutheran Church. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Music director Russell Johnson said he felt that such a new type of night would be beneficial for both the students and community.

Medicine Lake Mechanic Roams From Wolf Point To Williston


Mechanic Stephen (pronounced “Steffen”) Roness relocated to the Medicine Lake area from Williston, N.D., a little over two decades ago seeking work as a farm hand. A growing family helped him set down roots, including an automotive shop on the south end of town. At the shop, Roness twists wrenches while raising sons Tucker (11), Dayvin (nine) and Everette (seven) and four-year-old daughter Locklyn.

Boysun Enjoys Time Competing For Wolves


Wolf Point High School senior Trevin Boysun appreciates the time he gets to spend with his fellow students throughout his various activities at the school. His involvement includes football, boys’ basketball and golf. Boysun’s favorite sport is football where he started at center and defensive tackle for the Wolves. “I like to be physical,” Boysun explained his enjoyment of football.

Institute of American Indian Arts’ 2022 valedictorian Tiffanie Irizarry participated in a “Land Acknowledgment” exhibition and show at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Wash., Dec. 5. Irizarry’s acrylic 20”x30” portrait of Chief Iron White Man was included in the show. The gallery exhibition was curated by Charlene Teters. Irizarry said the show was mainly focused on regional art
