The Fort Peck Tribal Elders Program made sure area seniors were going to be well fed this Thanksgiving with turkey distribution conducted in Wolf Point on Thursday, Nov. 16, and in Poplar on Friday, Nov. 17.
Lotene Hairy Chin, care giving coordinator, said 400 turkeys were given to elders through the Fort Peck Reservation including those in Wolf Point, Poplar and Frazer.

Wolf Point High School principal Kim Hanks provided encouraging information regarding academic progress during the school board meeting on Monday, Nov. 13.
Hanks said math testing results recently received show good growth for freshmen and excellent growth for sophomores.
