Wolf Point’s Cali Gorder placed second at 100 pounds during the Montana Super 14 wrestling tournament in Belgrade. Gorder won four matches including three on pins. She lost by a 3-0 margin in the title match. Wolf Point’s Lakealah Mays at 100 pounds and Paisley Bruner at 130 pounds each won two matches at the tournament.

Brockton’s girls’ basketball squad defeated Richey/Lambert, 51-41, in a battle of two solid District 2C teams on Friday, Jan. 2. The Warriors held a 12-10 lead at the end of the first quarter and moved ahead 2616 at the half. Brockton struck for 13 points in the third period for a 39-26 advantage.
