Brockton Girls Defeat Fusion

Brockton’s girls’ basketball squad defeated Richey/Lambert, 51-41, in a battle of two solid District 2C teams on Friday, Jan. 2.

The Warriors held a 12-10 lead at the end of the first quarter and moved ahead 2616 at the half.

Brockton struck for 13 points in the third period for a 39-26 advantage.

Reaching double figures for the Warriors were Quintana Young with 20 and Tamryn Bauer with 14 points.

Also scoring were Marlene Fish with eight, Reese DeCoteau with five and Claire Clampitt with four points.

Jolee Klempel and Brynne Hill led the Fusion with 16 points each.
