Brockton Boys Take Fusion
The Brockton Warriors rolled to a 74-54 home boys’ basketball victory over Richey/Lambert on Friday, Jan. 2.
Brockton earned a 17-7 lead in the first quarter as Tefton Bear scored six points and Ronnie Black Dog added five points.
The Warriors ran off 23 points in the second period for a 40-22 half-time advantage. Miles Boxer Jr. and Jarid Fast Horse each connected on a pair of three-pointers during the quarter.
Brockton increased the margin to 64-35 in the third quarter. Bear tallied seven points in the period.
Brockton’s top scorers in the contest were Bear with 17, Fast Horse with 15, Josh Firemoon with 13 and Boxer with 11.
Also scoring were Black Dog with eight, Colter Nygard with five, Weston Lambert with three and CoDean Big Eagle with two points.
Leading the Fusion were Trace Fulton with 23 and Curtis Mullin with 11 points.
