Red Hawks Lose Against Jordan Squad


Despite a strong comeback, the Froid/Lake Red Hawks fell against Jordan during loser- out action at the Eastern C divisional volleyball tournament in Sidney on Friday, Nov. 3. Jordan won the match by a 25-18, 25-19, 25-22 final. The Red Hawks fell behind early in the first set, but kills by Isabelle Nordwick closed the margin to 13-12. A kill by Jaeleigh Davidson tied the match at 13-13.

The Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office responded to 63 calls from Oct. 29 through Nov. 5. October 29 Deputies responded after a request for a welfare check in Fort Kipp. An unknown individual called about an intoxicated person arguing and children yelling for help.
