The Indians led 41-38 after three quarters of play and increased the margin to 44-38 on a three-pointer by Frankie Gourneau early in the fourth period. After Harlem closed the gap to 44-43, two free throws by Gourneau and an inside shot by Emma Belton were good for a 48-43 advantage.

Wolf Point’s girls’ basketball game fell to Glasgow, 6422, at home on Saturday, Dec. 20. A free throw by Ma’Kenzie Jackson gave the Wolves a quick 1-0 lead. Lustre Christian boys’ basketball squad posted an 84-19 victory over Froid/Lake on Thursday, Dec. 18. The Lions jumped out to a 31-0 advantage in the first quarter. Lustre added 30 more points in the second period for a 61-7 lead at the half. Reaching double figures for the Lions were Joel Reddig with 18, Cam Reddig with 14, Johnslee Pierre with 14 and Hadden Olfert with 13 points.

Wolf Point’s girls’ basketball squad lost its opening conference game of the season in Fairview, 50-30, on Friday, Dec. 19.
