Creator’s Game Fun Day Event Thursday

Creator’s Game organizers have scheduled a family fun day at the Wadopana Grounds in Wolf Point July 7. It will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. All ages are welcome with consent from parents and/or guardians. The fee event will include horseback riding, a petting zoo, lacrosse, archery, face painting and a tug of war, as well as additional games, food, snacks and drinks. For more information,

Froid/Lake, Bainville Squads Compete At Major Softball Tournament

The Froid/Lake and Bainville softball teams each competed hard during the major softball league tournament held in Plentywood on Monday, June 27. Froid/Lake placed third and Bainville took fourth in the six-team tournament. Wolf Point came away with first-place honors. After falling to Bainville in the opening round, Froid/ Lake bounced back with a 21-6 victory over Crosby in loser-out action.

The combined Wolf Point and Froid Agland team posted two victories during the baseball tournament in Gillette, Wyo. In the first game, the squad fell to Sheridan by a 9-8 final. Wolf Point/Froid scored five of its runs in the second inning. Parker Swenson and Nate Hentges each scored twice in the contest. Swenson and Braeden Romo connected for two hits.
