Culbertson Council Approves Site Plan, Fundraiser Donation

The Culbertson Town Council held their regular meeting Monday July 11. The council approved a sketch/ site plan for a new fence for David Ellingson. They also discussed a development request at Wheatland Hills but tabled the matter for further discussion.

A pass for the Culbertson Library’s Summer Reading Program was approved for purchase to donate to the Roosevelt Medical Health Foundation’s annual fundraising gala, set for Oct. 8.

Tori Matejovsky from Great Northern Development Corporation paid the council a visit. She introduced herself and gave a short talk about GNDC plans, goals and services.

A general discussion was held on the subject of American Rescue Plan Act funds available at the county level for matching on town projects.

A transcoder for the TV station was approved at an approximate expense of $1,000.

Minutes were approved for the June 13 regular meeting and budget hearing. Financials and claims were approved for June, including June bills, vouchers and the treasurer’s report.

The next regular council meeting is set for Aug. 8 at 6:30 p.m.
