Actress Speaks At Youth Summit


An appearance by actress Amber Midthunder highlighted the Fort Peck Tribal Youth Summit held at the Thundering Buffalo Wellness Center in Poplar last week. Midthunder’s regular roles have included in the shows Legion and Roswell, New Mexico. She has also acted in Reservation Dogs and Banshee. She portrayed Naru in the film Prey. Midthunder won the Saturn Awards’ Breakthrough Performance

FWP Seeks Proposals For Hunting License Auctions


Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks’ Licensing Bureau is soliciting proposals from conservation organizations that are interested in conducting a competitive auction or lottery for some 2024 licenses. Licenses available for auction include bighorn sheep, Shiras moose and mountain goat. Licenses available for auction or lottery include mule deer and elk. The Montana Administrative Rules

The Culbertson Frontier Days parade was held in Culbertson Saturday, June 10. Floats from community organizations and individuals lined up at the school at 11 a.m. and proceeded down Broadway Avenue.
