Culbertson Students Win Academic Honors


Two Culbertson students earned honors at the high school Academic Olympics competition held in Glasgow on Wednesday, March 24. Autumn Bergum led the way as she tied for first in science, placed fourth in social studies and tied for 10th in English. Colter Romo placed fifth in math. Friede Changes Plea For Witness Tampering


Christpher Michael Lee Friede, 20, of Culbertson changed his plea to guilty for the charge of witness tampering. He changed his plea in district court on Tuesday, March 23. Maximum penalties for the offense is 10 years in prison, a $50,000 fine or both. A pre-sentencing investigation has been ordered. Bainville Hosts “Night of Neon” Prom

Bainville Hosts “Night of Neon” Prom


The Bainville School hosted their 2021 prom Saturday, March 27, at the high school. Family members and friends packed the school gym for the annual presentation of Bainville royalty and prom attendees. Bainville Students Place At Academic Olympics


The Bainville High School students earned fifth as a team at the Academic Olympics held in Glasgow on Wednesday, March 24. Rudy Kummer scored second among juniors. He earned first place in science. Bainville’s Gianna Boyd and Kummer tied for third place in English. Kaden Hansen placed sixth in English. Hansen placed second in social studies. Kummer took seventh in social studies.
