Montana Youth Challenge Academy Holds 44th Commencement A commencement ceremony for Class 44 of the Montana Youth Challenge Academy took place June 12 at Vigilante Stadium in Dillon. Seventy-nine cadets were acknowledged for their completion of the program. Area graduates include Chaske’ Bearsghost, Isabella Jones, Slade Kirn, Emalee Vargas, Luthor Iron Cloud of Poplar and Eithan McKay

The Montana Department of Transportation has announced and is seeking public comment on a proposal to improve the intersection of S 344 and MT 16 in Froid. Proposed work will include the installation of new signage including stop signs, stop ahead signs, and intersection warning signs at this intersection. The purpose of the project is to address a crash trend identified at this intersection.

Betty Gingerich told the Community News that Culbertson senior and congregate meals organizers are holding a membership drive. The group meets Mondays and Fridays at noon. Meals are hosted at the Town of Culbertson building on Broadway Avenue.
