Culbertson Pool Open For Aerobics, Lap Swim


Culbertson swimming pool assistant manager Clayton Marchwick told the Community News that spots for swimming lessons remain open, as do aerobics and lap swim periods at the pool. According to Marchwick, the pool will continue to operate on a posted schedule through July, with open swim held daily from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Lap swim is held before and after open swim periods on Tuesdays

Froid/Medicine Lake Wins Title At Minor Baseball Tourney


The Froid/Medicine Lake Reds captured the Big Muddy Minor League Baseball championship by outscoring Culbertson, 20-4, in the title game held in Scobey on Sunday, June 27. After the Reds took a 5-0 lead in the top of the first inning, Culbertson responded with a pair of runs in the bottom of the frame. Froid/Lake accounted for five more runs in the top of the second for a 10-2 advantage.
