Biologists conducting spring deer and elk surveys found some areas with improved herd growth and some areas with lower recruitment due to poor habitat conditions and disease. Brian Michelotti, executive director of the Montana High School Association, has recently announced that Mike Anderson of Butte, Daniel Boucher of Havre, Frank Costello of Billings and Cal Wirtzberger or Havre will be inducted into the Montana Officials’ Association Hall of Fame for 2024.
