Brockton’s girls ran to a third-place showing at the Poplar Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 7. The Warriors finished with 58 points. The Lustre Lions opened their volleyball season at a tournament in Culbertson on Saturday, Aug. 31. After taking third place in their pool, a highlight for the Lions was defeating Nashua by a 25-11, 25-19 final.
