Wrestling Scholarship Winners Selected

For the 19th year in a row Alexander “Zander” Blewett, III, a trial lawyer from the personal injury law firm of Hoyt & Blewett PLLC in Great Falls has offered three $1,000 scholarships to the top student/wrestlers around the state of Montana for Classes “AA”, “A” and “B/C”.

The scholarships are awarded to the top wrestler from each school classification who has displayed the best combined qualities of wrestling and academic achievement. This year’s winners exemplify the precise purpose of the scholarships.

The winners were Kale Baumann of Great Falls High, Reese Graves of Sidney and Hayden Ramaeker of Huntley Project.

Kale Baumann, of Great Falls High, is the winner of the Class “AA” scholarship. Baumann won the 2025 State Championship with a 38-0 record. He also earned a place in the state finals all four years of his high school wrestling career en route to three second place finishes. He recently earned All-American honors at the NHSCA High School Nationals in Virginia Beach.

Reece Graves of Sidney High School is the Class “A” winner. Graves, who earned a 3.5 GPA, was a three-time state champion who placed at state all four years of his high school wrestling career.

Hayden Ramaeker of Huntley Project High School is the Class “B/C” winner. Ramaeker, who earned a 4.0 GPA is a two-time state champion and placed at state all four years.

He holds a school record for the single season pins with 41 pins and has been awarded the most valuable wrestler at Huntley Project High. He will continue his wrestling career at Jamestown College where he intends to study civil engineering.
