Winners Announced For Rock Creek Tourney


The team of Wayne Wilcox and Gage Gordon captured first-place honors at the Rock Creek Walleye Fishing Tournament during the weekend. Wilcox of Laurel and Gordon on Belgrade finished with 96.82 pounds including 51.64 pounds on the second day of the tournament held at Fort Peck. Lustre Posts Championship Performances At State Meet


The Lustre Lions impressed with three first-place performances and came close to a team trophy during the Class C state track meet held in Laurel on Friday, May 26, and Saturday, May 27. The Lions finished with 40 points for fourth place. The top three teams were Manhattan Christian with 81, Belt with 48 and Chinook with 42 points. Standout performances by Katelyn MacDonald and Peyton Summers highlighted the Class B state track meet for Wolf Point athletes. Wolf Point scored eight points in both the boys’ and girls’ divisions at the meet held in Butte. Wolf Point Athletes Receive Season Awards


Wolf Point High School athletes were honored during an awards program at the school on Monday, May 22. Awards for the tennis program included Kaleah Miller- Toves and Kaylee Johnson sharing the most valuable player award. Mahala Moran was selected as the most inspirational player. Wolf Point Produces Strong Showing At Divisional Track Meet


Wolf Point’s boys’ track team finished in fourth place and was extremely close to a third-place trophy at the Northern B divisional track meet in Great Falls on Saturday, May 20.
