Doubles Teams Advance To State


Both of Wolf Point’s doubles teams qualified for the state tournament during the divisional tourney in Glendive last weekend. Lauren Rodenberg and Riley Schwarzrock had a record of 2-1 and placed third at the tournament. Hailey Gray Hawk and McKinlee Paulson took fifth place at the tourney. Winning one singles match each were Tanna Guldborg, Bella Sanchez, Arianna Mee and McKenzie Rodenberg.

The Wolf Point Wolves had athletes qualify for the divisional meet during district track action in Glasgow on Saturday. The Wolves finished with 55 points in the girls’ division for fifth place and 14 points in the boys’ division for sixth place. The Lustre Lions dominated the District 3C track meet by scoring 330 points in the boys’ division to secure top honors. Scobey placed second with 173 points and Circle took third with 144 points.
