Lady Wolves Capture Third-Place District Trophy


Wolf Point’s girls came through with many personal bests to earn the third-place trophy at the District 2B track meet held in Fairview on Saturday, May 16. The Lady Wolves struck for 82 points at the meet. The top two teams were Malta with 132 points and Glasgow with 131 points. Maia Kent, a freshman, came through with a spectacular round to win the Northern B girls’ golf championship held at the Wolf Point Airport Golf Course on Tuesday, May 12. Wolf Point hosted the Northern B divisional boys’ golf tournament on Monday, May 11. Poplar’s Lukas Young shot a 92 to tie for 13th place and qualify for the state tournament.
