Golfers Earn Honors At Best Ball Tournament
The 2022 Airport Golf Course Improvement Fundraiser attracted 32 two-man teams. Golfers were from Montana and North Dakota this year.
Tournament organizer Rodney Paulson thanks all the teams that participated.
“I sure hope you enjoyed the tournament,” he said.
He also thanked the businesses who sponsored the tournament.

Azure Returns For Wrestling Camp In Poplar
Dustyn Azure was back home this weekend. The head coach for Eastern Oregon University’s wrestling program was having a delightful time teaching the sport to area youngsters during the Poplar Wrestling Camp.
“I’m just excited to be here and to give back to the community,” Azure said during a break on Saturday, June 4.
He said he was trying to teach the wrestlers the “ins and outs”
Babe Ruth Squad Plays Froid Team
The Froid Agland Babe Ruth team edged Wolf Point in both baseball contests held in Wolf Point on Friday, June 3.
Agland jumped out to a 6-1 lead in the first inning and added 13 runs in the second inning during the first game.
Agland won the game by a 23-2 final.
Wolf Point played much better in the second game and gained a 4-0 advantage in the first inning.
Agland led by only an 11-8

Wolves Win Medals At Class B State Track Meet
Wolf Point’s Peyton Summers and Mason Garfield each earned All-State medals during the Class B state track meet held in Great Falls on Friday, May 27, and Saturday, May 28.
Summers, a sophomore, led most of the way in the 3200 until Red Lodge’s Brandon Emineth moved ahead during the final lap. Emineth, a senior who also won the state cross-country title, finished with a time of 10:00.03.
