Coming off their best season in school history, Lustre Christian’s boys’ basketball team hopes to reach its goal again this campaign. Last year, the Lions won the Eastern C divisional championship and went on to play at the Class C state tournament. This season’s team features 21 players. The Fort Peck Tribal Elders Program made sure area seniors were going to be well fed this Thanksgiving with turkey distribution conducted in Wolf Point on Thursday, Nov. 16, and in Poplar on Friday, Nov. 17. Hanks said math testing results recently received show good growth for freshmen and excellent growth for sophomores.
