Work On School Parking Lot Begins

Work On School Parking Lot Begins


An improvement at Wolf Point High School will include a new parking lot north of the school. Construction on the project started on June 7. Century Companies and Interstate Engineering are in charge of the project. Work is expected to be done in the early part of August. The total project cost is $1,034,143, but a Delivering Local Assistance grant from the Montana Department of Commerce covers

Erickson Returns, School Board Hires 53


The Wolf Point School District held its regular monthly meeting Monday, June 14. Following the salute and public comment period, board member Lawrence Hamilton Jr. attempted to make a motion to introduce a new agenda item. Board chair Linda L. Hansen explained that at least 48-hours notice must be observed for additions to the agenda. Hamilton then made a motion to appeal Hansen’s position.

Medicine Creek Caregivers, located at 315 First Ave. North, was recently presented with its First Dollar certificate from the Wolf Point Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture. Al Pipe, owner of Medicine Creek, said the dispensary is the only one in Wolf Point that doesn’t push tax costs onto its patients.
