Horsemanship Clinic Offered At Poplar Rodeo Grounds

A horsemanship clinic is being offered by area sponsors at the Poplar Rodeo Grounds May 28-30. Threetime Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association World Champion Monty “Hawkeye” Henson will provide instruction, along with Indian National Finals Rodeo World Champion Marty YoungBear. Basic horsemanship will be taught by instructors Leon Stewart, Jon Eagle Sr., Mattni Becker and Jessica Abatie.

The Fort Peck Tribes OEP Department is hosting an Earth Day event May 5-6 in Poplar. Organizers ask that people leave bigger items out by the garbage cans and curbs. Trash pick up will be provided.
