Boysun Serves For 26 Years In National Guard


Nufry Boysun started his military service a little bit later than most individuals do, but the amount of years served and his various deployments certainly made up for it. His time with the National Guard covered 26 years and seven months. “A lot of friends were in. It was kind of a challenge,” Boysun said of why he joined the Guard. “I wanted to serve the community and the country.”

Fireman’s Chili Cook-Off Entertains Residents


Area residents supported the Wolf Point Volunteer Fire Department by attending the organization’s fireman’s ball event at the Wolf Point Elks Event Center on Saturday, Nov. 8. As a change of pace this year, a chili cook-off was held. Hungry eaters got to taste more than 10 different types of chili and then vote to determine the night’s winner. Michael Iwen was the top vote-getter in
