Central Montana bullfighter J.D. Harrell is coming back for the 2022 Wild Horse Stampede on Thursday through Saturday, July 7-9. Harrell’s career as a bullfighter goes back to his time competing in high school rodeo in Roy, north of Lewistown, where he grew up and still lives. Montana Operation Lifesaver continues its efforts to educate the public regarding railroad safety. “We’re a non-profit organization that promotes rail safety and inform people to stay away from the tracks and use designated crossings,” John Althof of Montana Operation Lifesaver said. Part of the organization’s recent efforts have included a safety campaign in Roosevelt County.
