The Bainville Bulldogs posted a 61-40 boys’ basketball league victory over Brockton on Friday, Jan. 22. Bainville gained a 17-6 lead in the first quarter. Kaden Hansen scored six and Jesse Strickland scored five in the quarter. After leading 28-19 at the half, the Bulldogs accounted for 18 points in the third quarter for a 46-25 advantage. Braeden Romo scored eight points in the quarter.

Amaya Kastner of Bainville has been named to Dickinson (N.D.) State University’s Dean’s List for the 2020 fall semester. The Roosevelt Memorial Healthcare Foundation welcomes scholarship applications for 2021. For area students interested in pursuing a career in healthcare, RMHF is currently offering two $500 scholarships to graduating students from the Culbertson, Froid and Bainville School Districts. Students must be attending or planning on attending a two, or four-year accredited college or university.
