The Bainville Town Council held their regular monthly meeting Tuesday, Jan. 19. The full council was in attendance. Public comment was offered regarding signage and graffiti reading “Trump 2020” on leftover culvert material. Playing without their All-State performer, the Froid/ Lake Red Hawks didn’t let that stop them from playing excellent defense and with great determination in a 42-28 non-conference loss in girls’ basketball play on Thursday, Jan. 21. For nearly two and a half quarters, the Red Hawks competed evenly against the strong Scobey squad. Sydney Dethman, a 6-2 senior, missed the contest due to an injury.
