Froid/Lake Girls Drop Away Contest


Playing without their All-State performer, the Froid/ Lake Red Hawks didn’t let that stop them from playing excellent defense and with great determination in a 42-28 non-conference loss in girls’ basketball play on Thursday, Jan. 21. For nearly two and a half quarters, the Red Hawks competed evenly against the strong Scobey squad. Sydney Dethman, a 6-2 senior, missed the contest due to an injury.

The Froid/Lake Red Hawks posted conference basketball victories at Brockton by large margins on Saturday, Jan. 23. Froid/Lake’s boys won by a 68-29 margin while the girls earned a 50-11 victory.
