Runners Place At Scobey Meet


Runners from Frazer and Brockton enjoyed success during the Scobey Invitational on Friday, Sept. 9. In the boys’ team standings, Brockton placed third with 24 points and Frazer took fifth with 52 points. The top two teams were Richey/ Lambert with six and Scobey with 23 points. Leading Brockton were Joshua Firemoon in fifth place at 21:47.52 and Quinn’dale Pretty Paint in sixth place

Local FFA Groups To Host Competitions


For the first time in the program’s history, Poplar’s FFA will host a competition this fall. Poplar, which started a FFA program two years ago for the first time since the 1940s, will cohost a competition with Wolf Point on Monday, Oct. 10. “We have about 14 teams in the district that plan to come,” Poplar’s FFA advisor Ted Fulgham said.
