Bainville Residents Compete In Cornhole Tourney To Raise Funds For School Programs


The game was cornhole as Bainville’s residents gathered at Sgt. Michael W. Picard Memorial Field for a fun evening on Saturday, July 24. Tanya Wilson, the school’s activities director, moved forward with the idea of having a cornhole tournament as a fundraiser for athletics. The Culbertson Women’s Club will host a pool fundraiser on Tuesday, Aug. 3, from 5-8 p.m. at the Culbertson Pool. There will be a freewill offering hot dog meal along with an opportunity to toss water balloons at a few local celebrities for a nominal fee.
