A Forsyth woman accused of defrauding customers through her business, Rosebud County Insurance Inc., by spending client payments on personal expenses admitted fraud charges on Thursday, Aug. 24. Kileen Moria Hagadone, 57, pleaded guilty to wire fraud and to aggravated identity theft. Hagadone faces a maximum of 20 years in prison, $250,000 fine and three years of supervised release on the wire

A tiny art show is underway at the Fort Peck Community College James E. Shanley Tribal Library. Participants are invited to grab a tiny canvas from the library to take home and use. An unidentified man died in a three-vehicle crash when his vehicle went on fire on U.S. Highway 2 west of Wolf Point on Saturday night. According to the Montana Highway Patrol, the male was driving a Mazda MZ6 westbound on the eastbound lane to cause the crash that occurred at about 8:30 p.m. near mile marker 584. A weather briefing for eastern Montana and northern Wyoming by the National Weather Service last week reviewed the last few weeks and looked into the future. Roosevelt County authorities continued searching early this week for a possible drowning victim in the Missouri River in Wolf Point.
