John David Panasuk of Bainville made not guilty pleas to the charges of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia during a district court hearing on Wednesday, Oct. 13. The charges were originally filed in May, but Panasuk was just recently located to be arrested. Maximum penalty for the possession of dangerous drugs charge is five years in prison and a fine of $5,000.

Ashlee Anderson has announced the return of “Trunk or Treat” Sunday, Oct. 31 at the Culbertson High School football field. Organizers will again host an afternoon of trick or treating for all ages. The Bainville Bulldogs suffered a road defeat against the Richey/Lambert Fusion on Friday, Oct. 15. Bainville dropped the conference football game by a 48-0 final. “It was a rough game,” Bainville assistant coach Jess Romo said. The Fusion jumped out to a 28-0 lead in the first quarter and led by a 36-0 half-time margin. Richey/Lambert added a touchdown in the fourth quarter.
