Area residents endured some harsh temperatures during the first full week of 2022. After a high temperature of 13 degrees on Tuesday, Jan. 4, the high temperature was only 7 degrees below zero in Wolf Point on Wednesday, Jan. 5. According to the National Weather Service, the low temperature in Wolf Point on Jan. 5 was 24 degrees below zero. The temperatures were 15.5 degrees colder than average.

The Culbertson Town Council held their regular meeting Monday, Jan. 10, at 6:30 p.m. The council approved results from their recent audit. There was only one exception noted stipulating that more in-house office employees would be preferred. The latter exception is common in small towns with few personnel.
