An unidentified man died in a three-vehicle crash when his vehicle went on fire on U.S. Highway 2 west of Wolf Point on Saturday night. According to the Montana Highway Patrol, the male was driving a Mazda MZ6 westbound on the eastbound lane to cause the crash that occurred at about 8:30 p.m. near mile marker 584. Starting Aug. 24, all Montana property tax rebates will be sent by paper check in the mail. To reduce the risk of fraud perpetuated by scam artists, the Montana Department of Revenue removed the option for taxpayers to receive the property tax rebate by direct deposit.
